
GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER
CALL/AMBULANT
We are looking for an authentic, energetic and unlimited hospitable candidate who would like to join our Guest Relations department on an on-call basis.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking in and out of guests
- Ensuring optimal guest satisfaction by offering a personal service
- Inform the guest about all possibilities in Amsterdam: from restaurants, to sights, to theaters, etc
- Keeping the "city of Amsterdam" up-to-date with the team: festivals, events, new restaurants, etc
- 'Modern concierge': you can transfer your extensive knowledge about Amsterdam to the guests
- Exercising the Teachership: being a "buddy" of our interns
- Responsible for the operation in & cleaning of “The Living”
- Establish and maintain good contacts with surrounding hotels to help each other with transfers or filling the hotel
- Communicating from the Desk to the other departments in the hotel
- Living the standards and core values of the Banks Mansion team
- Participating in optimizing hotel turnover by actively upselling
- Thinking along and executing the mission, vision and strategy of Banks Mansion
- In the long run accepting and (possibly) booking reservations
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Has a passion and drive for the hotel industry
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
- Can be used flexibly when the crowds demand it
- Is commercial
- Is a real team player
- Has an open-minded and flexible character
- Is energetic
- Speaks and writes Dutch and English well
PREFERABLY:
- Are you studying or have you graduated at a minimum MBO level?
- Do you have experience at the Front Office and/or in the hospitality industry
- Are you familiar with Opera?
