The Guest Suite Canal View at Banks Mansion offers 35 m² of space for up to two guests, with views of the Herengracht in the heart of Amsterdam. The comfortable armchair is a lovely spot to unwind after a day in the city or a day of work. The suite features a queen or twin bed and a bathroom with bathtub and rain shower. Enjoy a Nespresso coffee and tea machine, a daily replenished minibar, air conditioning, WiFi and Chromecast.

  • Yes. Bed preferences can be indicated when making your reservation.

    Comfy Rooms and Comfy Canal View Rooms have either a queen or twin bed. Guest Suite Canal View rooms can have a king or twin bed.

    Twin beds consist of two separate beds with individual bedding placed next to each other in the same room.

    Room layouts are fixed, so preferences cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.

  • The main difference is the location: the Guest Suite overlooks a quiet courtyard, while the Guest Suite with Canal View offers direct views of the Herengracht. The Guest Suite also has a separate toilet and a king-size bed. The Guest Suite with Canal View has an en-suite toilet and is available with a queen bed or twin beds.

  • Banks Mansion has five room types: Comfy Room, Comfy Canal View Room, Guest Suite, Guest Suite Canal View and Master Suite.

    Comfy Rooms and Comfy Canal View Rooms have either a queen or twin beds. Guest Suites have a king-size bed. Guest Suite Canal View rooms have either a king-size or twin beds. The Master Suite has a king-size bed.

    The bed configuration of each room is fixed and cannot be changed. Guests can indicate their preference when making a reservation, and we will always do our best to accommodate it, subject to availability.
